Wheel Bearing Grease
Greyhound High-Temperature Wheel Bearing (WB) is a lithium complex-based grease fortified with carefully selected EP additives which exceptional load-carrying abilities. Greyhound WB grease is a high-temperature all-purpose, extreme pressure (EP) grease manufactured from high-quality mineral or synthetic base oils and a lithium complex soap thickener. Our grease is formulated with state-of-the-art grease additives that provide tackiness, excellent load-carrying ability, outstanding resistance to water washout as well as effective extreme pressure performance and anti-wear protection. Mineral temperature range: -30°C to +180°C; Synthetic temperature range: -45°C to +190°C (+220°C – a short period).
Multi-Purpose Grease used instead of Wheel Bearings Grease: The most frequently used kind of grease in the automotive world is multi-purpose. The core use for Greyhound Multi-Purpose grease is where heat is not a matter of concern. This type of grease is typically made from Lithium or Calcium soaps. It is not advisable to use Greyhound multi-purpose grease for disc brake wheel bearings or where the temperature remains within a conventional range of -30°C to 130°C. As well as load, speed, and lifetime constraints also remain within standard values.

Greyhound™ Lithium Complex (Li-CX) EP2 greases series is a high-performance, non-melting grease formulated from a special thickener that forms a gelling substance with a smooth-textured appearance. It is designed for the lubrication of hub bearings on wheels with disc brakes. It has higher loading capabilities as well as water washout resistance. The grease is a homogeneous ointment varying from yellow to brown, slightly fibrous, smooth-textured composition, containing Extreme Pressure (EP) additives.
Greyhound™ Li-CX EP2 can be used in both automotive and industrial applications ranging from multipurpose to very specific applications. The grease ensures the lubrication of components, working under very heavy or shock loads, like bearings, slide-bearings, axles, and joints. It can be used for the lubrication of electromotors or ventilators. Temperature range: -30°C to +180°C.
The grease can be used at high temperatures and stays pumpable at low temperatures making it suitable for heavy load bearings in dry as well as wet environments. It offers high stability and load-carrying capacity.

Greyhound™ Li-CX is a non-melting grease formulated with synthetic base fluid with a premium lithium complex thickener. It is designed for the lubrication of heavy-duty automotive and industrial applications. Li-CX grease has a high level of chemical stability and is formulated with special additives to provide exceptional protection for Extreme Pressure (EP) applications, wear, rust, and corrosion at high and low temperatures.
Greyhound™ Li-CX 220 Synthetic grease can be used in both automotive and industrial applications ranging from multi-purpose to very specific applications. The grease ensures the lubrication of components, working under very heavy or shock loads, like bearings, slide-bearings, axles, and joints. It can be used for the lubrication of electromotors or ventilators. Temperature range: -45°C to +190°C (+220°C – a short period).
The wax-free nature of synthetic base oil and superior coefficient of traction in comparison to mineral oil-based grease provide excellent low-temperature pumpability and very low starting and running rotational force. Specially formulated Greyhound™ Li-CX thickener provides excellent adhesion, structural stability, and water resistance.
